The IABA team is made up of certified professionals who are dedicated to fulfilling our mission of ensuring learning for all of the individuals we serve.

Leadership

IABA’s success is largely driven by our leadership team, who carry out the mission of IABA on a daily basis. Collectively, IABA’s Founder and Directors have been with IABA since its origin. Our Founder, Jessie Cooper, knew in the creation of IABA that to keep her vision alive, she would need to find like-minded leaders to walk alongside her. 13 years and counting, Jessie leads alongside a team of women who uphold her passion for clinical excellence while honoring the humanity of each person who walks through our doors. Years ago, Jessie received the advice that to succeed, she would need to hire people smarter than her. It is with great pride that Jessie learns from Katlyn, Katie, and Toshi in Illinois every day. They are the foundation of IABA that allows us to thrive.

BCBAs

At the origin of IABA, our Founder Jessie Cooper dreamed of a company that would empower BCBAs to work alongside each other as a team of scientists. During her time on the Illinois Crisis Prevention Network, Jessie saw, too often, BCBAs isolated at organizations with unmanageable caseloads. Jessie dreamed of a place where BCBAs had the time to individually treat their clients and grow as clinicians together. For over a decade, our BCBAs have carried out this dream by creating a community of scientists. Each BCBA at IABA chooses their client’s treatment hours, has the tools needed for idiosyncratic plans, votes on the CEUs of the organization, and meets monthly for our Peer Review Committee. Each day, our BCBAs work on small teams, with manageable caseloads, that lead to client outcomes. And, each year they prove that when given the resources to treat one client at a time, the science of ABA can indeed change lives. Our BCBAs do not treat from the standards of corporations; they treat from the roots of our science.
