ABA Clinic Services

About our ABA Clinic Services

For young autistic children, 18 months to five years of age, research supports the best and most effective treatment is provided in a clinic-based setting. Our clinics foster an environment where children can grow and learn. In fact, ABA therapy is the only evidence-based practice for treating autistic children is 20-40 hours per week of dedicated treatment.

Clinics are designed for children between the ages of 18 months and five years of age. For older children, ages 6 to 21, we offer in-home specialty services designed for your child’s needs. Clients of all ages typically receive 20-40 hours of ABA therapy per week. Program specifics will differ depending on the needs of your child.

Clinic-Based ABA Therapy Services

There are several benefits our therapists provide while young children are in the clinic setting. IABA Consultants develops specific programs for clinic-based services. Working in the clinic environment allows therapists to:

  • Observe symptoms of autism
  • Monitor developmental milestones
  • Set goals for parents
  • Work on socialization with peers
  • Ongoing observation & consultation

Each of these is vitally important to ensure the child is advancing and acquiring new skills. In addition to the one-on-one work done with each child, each of our clinics provides a preschool setting. Working with children in a group environment provides socialization and allows the children to learn from one another.

While receiving clinic services, each family also receives a quarterly assessment to ensure that the work the child is doing at school is transferred to the child’s home life. If parents are not seeing progress from the clinic transfer to their family home, home-based services may also be recommended to promote generalization.
