Lucy Rojas

BCBA, Clinical Supervisor, Oak Lawn and Naperville

Lucy Rojas is a BCBA and Clinical Supervisor of the Oak Lawn and Naperville, Illinois locations. She earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Originally from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Lucy’s passion for working with individuals with disabilities began at an early age. At just 13, she started volunteering, and by 15, she was already serving as a mentor for teens with autism through Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. It was during her undergraduate studies that she discovered the field of ABA and instantly knew it was the path she was meant to follow.

Lucy’s main professional focus is in early intervention and Functional Communication Training (FCT), and she finds immense joy in watching the growth of her clients – especially those breakthrough moments when a child independently communicates for the first time. For Lucy, the best part of being at IABA is working alongside a team that is deeply dedicated to helping children thrive. She’s been a proud member of the IABA family for nearly a decade, celebrating 10 years in December 2025.

Outside of work, Lucy is an avid traveler who has explored 12 countries and looks forward to adding more to her list. She loves immersing herself in new cultures and sampling local cuisines. At home, she’s a devoted dog mom to her puppy Oliver, and she enjoys discovering dog-friendly destinations with her husband, her high school sweetheart.
