For young children with autism, those from 18 months up to six years of age, research supports the best and most effective treatment is provided in a clinic-based setting. IABA’s clinics foster an environment where children can grow and learn. In fact, the only evidence-based practice for treating children with autism is 20-40 hours per week of dedicated treatment.
In addition to the one-on-one work done with each child, each of our clinics provides a preschool setting. Working with children in a group environment provides socialization where children can learn from play with each other, and under their teacher’s guidance. Each young learner in our clinic aquires skills with their one-on-one registered behavior technician, then learns to apply those skills with their friends.
At IABA, we structure our sessions to model that of a standard preschool day, alongside individual programming. All clients are paired with a one-on-one therapist to ensure they receive undivided attention and instruction.
Here are a few other facts about our clinic to consider:
- IABA was founded in 2012
- Clients range in age from 18 months through five years
- Clients typically receive 20 – 40 hours of ABA therapy per week, the only evidence-based practice for children with autism
